Trade and IP – Prospects given current trends and the Trump impact

Join us at a talk on the navigation of the world economy in light of current trends and the US President-elect’s approach to America’s position on trade and commerce, by Mr Gabriel Duque, the Ambassador of Colombia to Japan.

Mr Duque is the former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Colombia to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and Adjunct Ambassador of Colombia to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).

Mr Duque will also touch on the direction and likely fate of the TPP and other agreements, the importance of IP in international agreements and its treatment in the TPP, and how businesses and regulators should manoeuvre in this context.
