IP Fundamentals: Applications for the Technology Industry
26 - 29 Apr 2010
The IP Fundamentals: Applications for the Technology Industry Course is an intensive 4-day modular training course that is designed for busy non-IP professionals who wish to have a good grasp of the legal and practical fundamentals of IP. It provides them with the necessary tools to enable them to contribute effectively to the development of their intellectual assets and the overall IP strategy for their organisations.
As IP is increasingly interwoven with issues in commerce, computer and internet regulations, communications and the regulation of medicine, this Course has a special focus on IP issues in Information Technology and Biotech. However, given the modular nature of this Course, participants are free to choose from the relevant modules according to their areas of interest, and customise their IP education/training in accordance with their career goals. **Please note that participants are required to bring their own laptops for "Module E: Patent Due Diligence Using Software Tools".
